It's horrible-- completely devastating. Typhoons happen all the time in South East Asia, and you'd think with all the technological advances and especially with predicting these natural catastrophes, we'd be able to cope with it better.
But horrible policy concerning the continuation of deforestation leaves THOUSANDS killed every single year.

What do you think will make those policies come to be?
How does one even begin to dismantle the effects of 107 years of colonialism/neocolonialism and corruption on the economy and agrarian masses?
