Full House and all that's great with America
You know, there are so many things we as a collective group of Americans learned from Full House. First of all, who didn’t want Danny Tanner as a father? The dude rarely got angry at his kids, and when he did, he calmly talked to them and got them to use their heads more than inflict corporal punishment.
Also, I think Uncle Jesse and Uncle Joey were really good uncles to Danny’s kids. I mean, they were a little kooky, but isn’t that what relatives are for? Heck, I would have to say all of my aunts and uncles are a little ‘off’ in some way or the other. But then again, I am super ‘off’..
I guess I admire the show because it gives us all insight on how a fully functional family can be, if we all work at it in our families. Hopefully the Full House model will be the norm in 20 years, rather than the exception.
Viva la familia Tanner!
