Bowling using the Wii

So I mentioned previously in a blog that during the superbowl for this year, Izzy brought over a Wii, and we played it during halftime. At first Chris and him played the boxing game, which looked pretty fun, and sort of like a modern version of Mike Tyson’s punchout (remember that game?). But things really got kicked up when they loaded in the bowling game.

Izzy had 4 controllers, and we all got to play one game of bowling. At first I thought it was a little silly, but as I got deeper into the frames I wanted to keep improving my curve. It was then that I started really appreciating the motion sensor controller, and by the end of the game I wanted to get a Wii for my own. Izzy told me there weren’t any Wii’s left anywhere except at Amazon.com around 12 noon EST, and that was really the only way to get it. We then made fun of the PS3, where supposedly noone is really buying the system because it’s overpriced. Oh well. There you go.

Nintendo Wii

Anyway, I hope to get a Wii sometime soon. I’ll cross my fingers, and hopefully the next time you talk to me I’ll be a bowling champion in that game! Or something to that effect…
