We fought you because we were free

So I wrote a new song two days ago, although I've had the melody and the first line for the longest time. The first line, which is the title line, was actually uttered by Bin Ladin in some interview where he was attacking the U.S., and I remember feeling that his logic was messed up. The thing is though, I can see a crowd of militaristic Americans or anyone for that matter who could be saying the same thing....so that's where I got the idea.

Anyway, I'm hearing almost like a standard minuet or something for the beginning of the song, but then get it totally rocked out ala Tori Amos/Fiona Apple band style on the 2nd verse. It's a super short song anyway, but I think with the right producer it could be super cool...someone like this dude:
